I really enjoy…….. by Nisha Naidu

I really enjoy working on activitys with my friends like maths problems, spelling and fun fact projects. I also really enjoy art like creating and making unique things. My favourite thing to do is to spend time outdoors in the beautiful nature.

What I like in all of the subjects is that all of them include fun like fun activitys fun working as a class and we also have a fun teacher which is the best.

I really enjoy spending time with my friends and family like going places to the movies, beach, outdoor park, Adelaide show and many more.

thanks for reading WHAT I REALLY ENJOY…..

SALSA SAQUAD

At the end of term 1 Mr. Z and Ms. Whelan class decided to do a fringe festival, where groups of people do what they love to do.

Who was in your group?
In my group there was Anisa, Skye, Emily and Leonora- (Technical difficulties)

What challenges did you have?
1 of our challenges was deciding what to do for our performance first we decided to do a lip syncing carpool karaoke and then we decided to do a cooking show with comedy act but final we thought of doing a dance because we didn’t have enough time we only had 1 month, dancing is not really our talent but we did it anyway, the song we danced to was Love Myself by Haliee Stan-field
After a few weeks we had some moves but we won’t that confident.

How did you decide what it looks like?
We had a thought of us doing it live and the kids on the floor while we are on the blocks and then we teach them the the dance.
For our workshop we will be teaching the classes the first part of the dance.

Here comes performance day…..
The start of the day I felt really nervous but when the first class came it wasn’t that bad it was a lot of people I think they were 2s and 3s, so we did our introduction I went first and then Skye and Anisa and finally Emily. So I think the first performance was amazing so we taught them the first part of the dance and it took about 8 trials before they were confident with the dance while they are walking out we kind of made it fun so we told them to dance their way out.
On our 2 performance it wasn’t that good it was ok but I loved our 1st performance
We did the exact same thing what we did for our 2nd performance.

imageWhat would you do to improve it next time
I would practice the dance a bit more and do it with a couple of more people.20160614-112304-1xecprx.jpg20160614-112311-1wx1ghe.jpg

Aquatics

Day 1: On Monday 29 of February all the year 6/7 and some of the year 5 went to aquatics at Port Noarlunga beach. We all chose what we wanted to learn there was wave skiing, body boarding, surfing, fishing, snorkelling and sail boarding.

The first activity I did was body boarding (aka) bogie boarding. There were 7 people in our group there was Lili, Lilia, Skye, Leonora, Emily, Erini and myself.

We did bogie boarding straight after we got there our instructor was called Brook and we had to put our soggy wetsuits on and it smelled like salty water before we even wore it, also after we had to walk a long way to our bogie boards and it took about 10 minutes till we got there. After we got there we grabbed our bogie boards and we walked were the waves were coming the most, but they weren’t very big they were like 1 big wave separated into little waves.

We had about 45 minutes to do every activity because at the end we had to go on the reef walk, after bogie boarding was over we put the boards back and walked back. By the time we got there it was half way past recess so we quickly grabbed our recess and sat down for about 2 minutes which wasn’t very long. After recess we had our next activity which was, wave skiing it was very fun until we went deeper and deeper. Our instructors name was he was a bit grumpy and he was bad at telling jokes, in my group was all my friends there was Anisa, Niki, Skye, Leonora, Emily, Erin and myself.

We headed down to the beach and luckily the wave skiing boards wasn’t far as the bogie boards, we took our boards and headed into the water, It was scary at first but the I got used to it but I loved aquatics thanks instructors ,thanks teachers and thanks Mr Marshall for letting us go to aquatics.
But should be improved is that we should go to aquatics for at least 1 week, me time I will try snorkelling and bogie boarding, the challenging thing for me was wave skiing when we went into the deep end, we went up to the reef it was scary but fun.

WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY!😀😀😀

This is my 100 word challenge about WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY. I have a lot of things that make me happy like hanging out with my friends and my family. My friends and family are the most important people in my life. thanks to God he is important as well.

They make me happy because I feel safe with them and I have friends who care about me and they respect me, I am grateful for what I have.

There are other people out there who don’t have houses, technology and clothes like we do, Australia is a great place.

Thanks for reading. 😀
